In 1959 Harvey Kulp established Kulp Car Rental and it remains a family owned and operated business today. As the business grew and evolved, Harvey’s three sons and several key non-family members formed the management team responsible for their success. Kulp Car Rentals specializes in replacement vehicles for insurance claims, as well as rental vehicles for vacation or personal use. They have locations in Plymouth Meeting, Allentown and Gilbertsville.

Like many successful family businesses, the three brothers each focus on separate areas. Mike Kulp, whose background is in accounting, tends to the business side of things. Dennis Kulp has always has an interest in cars and supervises the purchase, maintenance and sale of the fleet of rental vehicles. Jeff Kulp is responsible for marketing and promotion. With their efforts, together with the efforts of other key team members, they’ve developed a reputation for excellence.

Their specialty is providing the replacement vehicle when your car is being repaired after an accident. To do this, they work closely with insurance companies and body shops and have developed special low rates and customized services.

Before a car or van begins to lose its new car look, they sell the vehicle to keep the supply of rental vehicles fresh and new. As a result, they sell well maintained cars with some unusual guarantees.
